Shooting Incident Targets Key Figure in Fraud Network
Reports from media sources in Belgrade, Serbia, confirm a shooting attack early this morning targeting local attorney Marko Vujosevic. Although he survived the assault without physical injury, he is said to be severely shaken.
Vujosevic is known as the founder and administrator of Global Payment Solutions Podgorica, a Montenegro-registered entity. This company allegedly operated as an unauthorized payment processor for notorious scammers Uwe Lenhoff and Gal Barak. Barak was sentenced to four years in prison in the high-profile Vienna Cybercrime Trials (VCT). Lenhoff, however, died in custody before the legal proceedings began.
Interestingly, Vujosevic had previously accused Gal Barak of issuing a murder order against him.
Could Gal Barak or Lazar Hoppl Be Involved?
At this stage, it remains uncertain who was behind the recent attack—whether it was linked to Gal Barak, his network, or a completely different source. Marko Vujosevic, however, is said to suspect Lazar Hoppl, another controversial figure associated with the case.
Notably, Hoppl’s wife was named as a shareholder in Global Payment Solutions Podgorica DOO. Both Hoppl and Vujosevic have long claimed that Uwe Lenhoff and his partners embezzled millions from them. Their dispute allegedly escalated into physical altercations in Belgrade as early as 2017.

According to court documents:
-
Marko Vujosevic and Lazar Hoppl are both identified as suspects in the Vienna Cybercrime Trials.
-

-
Victims come from Germany, Austria, Italy, and several other EU nations.
